Hafez Farmayan's Interview- part 1
Hafez Farmayan's interview conducted by Manoutchehr Eskandari-Qajar on 5 February 2010. He shares his memories of family members, acquaintances, and the daily life and rituals of people in the Qajar era. Hafez Farmayan describes the life of his Father (ʻAbd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma) in his estate in Tehran, his childhood memories of his mother and other co-wives, and his siblings and other people living on the estate. The plan of this estate is also drawn by Farmayan and it is included as an item in this collection.

Inheritance of ‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar, 1935
‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar's death in Berlin has been announced to the newspapers and his inheritors have been confirmed as follows: Zahra Sultan Nizam Mafi (‘Izzat al-Saltanah), his wife; ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma’iyan, his father; Fatimah Khanum ’Izzat al-Dawlah, his mother; Huma Khanum and Taj al-Muluk Khanum Farmanfarma’iyan, his older daughters; and his minor children, ‘Izzat al-Muluk Khanum, Mihri Khanum, Bahram Mirza, and Bahman Mirza.

Letter from ‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma to ʻAbbas Mirza, 1911
Discusses the high cost of keeping the horses, asks the addressee to keep only ten horses for the use of Khanum's carriage, the andaruni, the addressee's carriage, breeding, and horse riding, and returning the rest. On the margin, there is a note ordering to keep only ten horses, to sometimes send two or three horses to ʻAbdul Abad, and to make sure there is enough hay.

Muhammad Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma’iyan, the brother of ‘Abbas Mirza Salar Lashkar, writes to his sister-in-law, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, from Berlin and tells her that Taji [Taj al-Muluk] and Safiyah [his wife] and the children have arrived safely in Berlin and thanks her for sending Taji off, that she is very helpful and her arrival has made Salar Lashkar very happy.
